SingaporeAthletics.com have always tried to be impartial being a news portal that we are, but no more. I'm all for a call-to-action if we want any progress and results for the sake of local athletics. I believe it starts with changes with the top leadership and management ways with our very own association, the Singapore Athletics Association (SAA). It's a 'battle' of attrition, so whose side are you on.

Singapore Sports

Sports in Singapore is officially established in 1966 where a Sports Division was created in the Ministry of Social Affairs to boost the promotion of sports. The promotion of sports was further enhanced with the establishment of the National Sports Promotion Board in 1971. While not a major sporting power, Singapore's athletes have performed well in regional as well as international competitions. As for this blog, established in 1999, we'll do our part to promote sports in Singapore.
