Hansons-Brooks Distance Project
  • April 3rd, 2010

It’s interesting to learn training programs by professional athletes, but bear in mind what works for some, might not work for another.

But the basis of such learning, is understanding the concept and philosophy behind the training, and implement a training somewhat similar but suited to your own unique needs.

The below ‘ang moh’ program is from the Hansons-Brooks Distance Project.

The Hansons-Brooks Distance project is an OD (Olympic development) program, for post-collegiate athletes. It has produced a number of notable professional runners.

The most recent success is that of Brian Sell who finished third in the 2008 Olympic Marathon Trials in New York City, November 3, 2007.
