Ethiopian Olympic long distance track athlete are houseshold names and the marriage between Tirunesh Dibaba and Sileshi Sihine was attended and watched by half a million people during their ten day ceremony in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, which just ended last Thursday.

Tirunesh Dibaba is the Olympic 5000m and 10000m champion (2008 for both gold, 2004 edition she got bronze) while Sileshi Sihine is a two time Olympic 10000m silver medallist (2008 and 2004).

Well they’re so famous that Tirunesh herself has a hospital named after her and she was bestowed the rank of Chief Superintendent by the local police.

Well she could be a fine policewoman if she ever retires from competitive running, being a runner, she got the chasing part covered.
