Indian 4×100m Commonwealth Games bronze medalist sprinter, Suresh Sathya, fails doping test
  • December 25th, 2010

Indian sprinter Suresh Sathya has failed a doping test, and now faces a pending two-year ban if his ‘B’ sample also returns positive.

His first ‘A’ sample came out as positive by the National Anti-Doping Agency recently, for banned substance steroid nandralone.

He was tested in an out-of-competition test in November.

Suresh is part of the Indian quartet that won bronze at the October’s Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.
