I was reading through the various sports forum and found an interesting thread. It’s about sprinter height to weight ratio. It seems that most top sprinters, according to the stats book that recorded their height and weight, all points to them being ‘light’. For example, Shawn Crawford, standing at 1.81m is 75kg! Surprised? Well most of the top international sprinters are well within that ‘light’ height to weight ratio. Here’s a few more sprinters with their height/weight stats. Deji Aliu (Nigeria) 1.87m 75kg Ato Boldon (Trinidad & Tobago) 1.76m 75kg Usain Bolt (Jamaica) 1.96m 75kg Darrell Brown (Trinidad & Tobago) 1.84m 70kg Darren Campbell (Britain) 1.80m 72kg Shawn Crawford (USA) 1.81m 75kg Marlon Devonish (Britain) 1.83m 76kg Jason Gardener (Britain) 1.78m 70kg Maurice Greene (USA) 1.76m 75kg Darvis Patton (USA) 1.83m 75kg So what say you?
