Looks like Jamaican athletics is in the spotlight recently, for all the wrong reason.
In October 2010, Shelly Ann Fraser was suspended for six months following a positive test from a banned substance. At the Shanghai meet in the IAAF Diamond League in May, Fraser tested positive for a banned substance after using medication for toothache.
While coach to Fraser, Stephen Francis was recently reprimanded by the Jamaica Amateur Athletic Association.
