Sebastian Bayer long jumps 8.71m European Record at Torino 2009

Just look at that jump, the air-time it had. It was the second farthest jump ever indoors, only behind Carl Lewis’ World Record from 1984.

Sebastian Bayer jumped 8.71m to a new personal best and European Record at Torino 2009. The 22 year old improved the European indoor record, formerly held by Yago Lamela from Spain, by 15cm. Prior to this meet Bayer’s personal record was 8.17m.
