Does the name Ron Clarke rings any bell to you. If you’re a distant runner and it doesn’t well, you should be ashamed of yourself. Ron Clarke was regarded as world’s greatest middle-distance runner without ever winning a gold medal. With 18 world records from one mile to 20,000 metres, 12 national and 3 world junior records, he had attempted for the elusive gold of course, but on race day, someone else was just better and faster. Anyway Runners Tribe had conducted a short interview with the legend himself. Video footage as below. Ron Clarke by the way is now the mayor of the Gold Coast in Australia.
