Renaud Lavillenie clears 5.85m at ‘Cottbus Jumps Meet’ for a new pole vault meet record

French pole vaulter Renaud Lavillenie who recently cleared 5.92m last 16th January, he recorded a new meet record of 5.85m at the Cottbus Jumps Meeting in Germany last Wednesday.

The Frenchmen tried to raise the bar to 6.02m but was unsuccessful. The 2010 European Athletics Championships pole vault champion is on fine form now, and is on the hunt to smash the French national indoor record of 6.00m.

Meeting Pas de Calais, France (16 Jan) – 5.92m

Cottbus Jumps Meeting, Germany (26 Jan) – 5.85m
