We all know marathoner body composition are usually skinny and scrawny from all that endurance running right. Well Samuel Wanjiru, the first Kenyan to win Olympic gold medal, says he’s ‘overweight’ and need to lose weight. That’s his opinion of course, but by looking at his recent photos, to me he’s skinny as hell. The 22 year old is currently training and working on his speed and of course trying to lose weight. He aims for 52kg frame and blames the festive season for adding on the pounds. His first race of the year would be the Portugal half marathon in February, and expects to be fit and ideal-weight ready by then.
