The Nike Mile is a series of track races held for Nike employees. It was held yesterday. And within the race, there was four elite events incorporated into the Nike Mile. The men’s 800m saw 2008 800m US Trial Champion, Nick Symmonds opened his outdoor season at the Nike campus in Beaverton, Oregon, clocking 1:46.25 for 800m. US based British runner Jemma Simpson won her 800m women’s event, while world champ bronze medalist distance runner Kara Goucher doubled in two events, 800m and the mile. She was second in the mile and fourth in the 800m. Amazingly, both races was held 15 minutes apart.
