Usain Bolt plans to make it to Manchester next Sunday

Usain Bolt camp is saying the athletics superstar is “training normally” after his car accident in Jamaica last month.

His manager Norman Peart has confirmed that the 22 year old will compete in the Manchester street race on Sunday.

Peart added, “He is OK. He is training pain-free and is on target to run in Manchester next Sunday. He will leave either Wednesday or Thursday. He is really looking forward to going to Manchester and to meet with Cristiano Ronaldo. He can’t wait.”

The Manchester street race will be Bolt’s first European outdoor meet where there’s a unique race of 150m dash on the streets of Manchester.
