A letter was addressed to National Sports Council (NSC) director-general Datuk Zolkples Embong recently where a woman official claims that a senior athletics official is alleged to have sexually harassed the women liaison officer

The senior athletics official response was that he denies any involvement of the claim, as stated by his own lawyers to NSC director-general Datuk Zolkples Embong inquiry

The accused lawyer also states their disappointment with the NSC for allowing such claims to be leaked to the media before the dispute could be ascertain and resolved

The letter by the woman official which was also sent to the Malaysian Amateur Athletic Union (MAAU), has the ’support’ of six athletes whom all collaborated in agreement that the woman official called to the senior athletics official room. It was there the senior official made sexual innuendos and tried hugging the woman

The case is still on-going and under investigation
