The recent political tsunami in Malaysia was largely due to local Malaysian political blogs, where people gathered online to discuss and spread the political news. The current incumbent government thought it was just a fad and didn’t factor in such influences. Well they were wrong and the rest was history Malaysian are going mobile and everyone are jumping on the blogging bandwagon. From key figures such as former Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Mahatir Mohamad to companies are now blogging too Even MAAU got a recent blogging facelift. The association website is now using a blogging platform to disseminate news and coverage of its competition, ruling and athletes Malaysia Amateur Athletic Union (MAAU) is currently using WordPress content mangement system (CMS) and the outcome … “I love it” I’ve been to the previous MAAU website and it’s rather messy and hard to navigate. The current revamp works well as everything I need to find is within my mouse click. I guess it’s all in the matter of effort and finding the right CMS to accompany the association objectives WordPress, if you’re clueless, is used by bloggers worldwide for its flexibility in terms of coding and design plus ease of use. It’s free too and plenty of websites have changed or upgraded to this CMS This brings a related recent entry by SingaporeSportsFan, who appeals to our own association to get their website in ‘order’. Do you think SAA lacks in coverage of our own athletes & competitions? Is there a dire need for more media exposure? Well if SAA ever need consultation from me, I’m all ears

Yah… The great step taken by the government after Tsunami in the Malaysia so that this content management system of Malaysia (MAAU) would get more power to achieve in the Athletics sports… This is really very nice….
