German pentathlete Lena Schöneborn interview, who won the gold medal in the Modern Pentathlon at the 2008 Summer Olympics.

What is Modern Pentathlon?

The modern pentathlon is a sports contest that includes five events: pistol shooting, épée fencing, 200 m freestyle swimming, show jumping, and a 3 km cross-country run.

The sport is governed by the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne (UIPM), the International Modern Pentathlon Union.
