Laverne Jones-Ferrette

Laverne Jones-Ferrette who hails from US Virgin Islands had her silver medal stripped after testing positive for clomiphene, a banned substance.

The 29-year-old finished second at the IAAF World Indoor Championships 2010 in Doha,behind Veronica Campbell-Brown, in the 60m event.

Her best of 6.97 seconds over that distance makes her one of six women to run under seven seconds in the event.

She will serve a six-month ban. Currently Laverne is pregnant, and she cites that she may have been taking the banned substance to help her fertility.
