Ksenija Balta wins women long jumps at Torino 2009 with 6.87m effort

Estonian Ksenija Balta won her women long jump final by the closest of margin of 3 cm. Her 6.87m effort was a personal best and a new national record.

The 22 year old is a promising youngster where she won the bronze medal at the 2005 European Junior Championships and has transition into a world class jumper, someone to look out for in the coming years.
