 Darvis Patton Darvis won the men’s 100m event in a time of 10.02s (wind + 0.1 m/s). Second place was Daniel Bailey of Antigua and Barbuda who was also clocked the same time. The women’s 100m race saw Olympic silver medallist Kerron Stewart running a world leading best time of 10.92s (wind +1.2 m/s). It’s a new meet record to boot. The meet held at the National Stadium yesterday also saw a fine running from 400 metres hurdles runner Javier Culson in a time of 48.42s. His effort earned him a new Puerto Rico national record too. The women’s 400m hurdles was won by 2007 Pan American silver medallist Nickiesha Wilson in 55.20s.
