Regarded as a two-sport star in sprinting and American football, Clemson University sophomore Jacoby Ford captured the 60m national title at the NCAA Indoor Championships in College Station, Texas. Three All-American honors in track is also regarded as the fastest player in football currently. Running 6.51 seconds in the 60m preliminary, Jacoby stormed to a 6.52 seconds in the finals. Jacoby Ford was quoted: “It meant a lot to me because I definitely wanted to go back out there and prove myself because I didn’t my freshman year, I just wanted to go back out there and make a statement and represent Clemson in a good way.
