Injured Tyson Gay beats Asafa Powell

The recent British Grand Prix held at the Gateshead International Stadium in Gateshead, England last Saturday saw a still injured Tyson Gay winning the 100m blue-ribbon event in a time of 9.94 seconds.

He pipped the Jamaican Asafa Powell who finished in a time of 9.96 seconds himself.

It is reported that Tyson Gay is still not 100 per cent recovered, and he is still hampered by a hamstring problem.
