At the British Olympic trials last Saturday, the men’s 100m was won by Dwain Chambers (Belgrave) in a time of 10.00s. Second was Simeon Williamson (Highgate) in 10.04 and in third, Craig Pickering (Marshall Milton Keynes) with a time of 10.19s
Despite winning the Olympic trials, Dwain Chambers’s Beijing Games chances now lies in the decision of the High Court which comes this Wednesday tomorrow
He is hoping that the High Court can overturn British Olympic Association (BOA) lifetime ban for drug cheats
Chambers has already served a two year ban which lasted from 2003 to 2005. He also had a short stint playing American football in Europe when he was banned
