Adriano Bastos has been winning the Walt Disney World Marathon for a record sixth time now, and his fifth in straight successive years defending his title. The Brazilian finished the race in the men’s event in a time of 2:20:38 hours. As he crossed the finish line, he was see waving Brazil and United States flags and the whole while, his Goofy hat still firmly on his head. He aims for his tenth marathon win at this event for the coming future. As for the women’s race, Japan’s Lisa Mizutani won the race in 2:46.27 hours. The 23 year old Japanese medical student was in America visiting her father. Some 21,000 runners competed in the Disney marathon.
