The Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune is a test event for the Commonwealth Games at New Delhi in 2010 and there was mixed reaction to how well the event was hosted. Although there were some logistics issue, the venue was in superb condition. The food was given the thumbs up by all but it was a mess with the media. There was confusion with the accreditation. But in all it has been a a good learning experience for the host nation to digest the feedback and improve on it when 2010 comes for the senior games.
