Caster Semenya has won her first comeback race at a low-key Lappeenranta Games in Finland. It was the 19-year-old first race to run as a female, since being cleared by IAAF over her gender speculation and controversy. The South African won the 800 meters event in a modest time of 2 minutes, 4.22 seconds last Thursday. It was a far cry from her 1:55.45 winning time back at the World Championships in Berlin held last year. Semenya is preparing for the upcoming October’s Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, India.
