In my opinion, there’s no such thing as bad managers, but bad people. It’s about athlete managers who takes advantage of their athletes like holding back on the prize money. Athletics Kenya association has had enough and has not renewed the licences of four reported managers who abused their position. They are Frenchman Khellil Benhalima, American Hussein Makke and dui Britons Chris Gowar and Ian Ladbrooke. The four will not be managing Kenya athletes the coming year in 2009 as there’s has been numerous mounting reports that the managers was not paying the athletes accordingly. One manager even made his athlete, marathon rising star Evans Cheruiyot to sleep with 14 other athletes in a cramped room.
