German women high jumper Ariane Friedrich (2.06m) beat Blanka Vlasic (2.03m) in the Golden League on Sunday. She cleared a world-leading 2.06 metres to win the women’s high jump at the ISTAF meet in Berlin. The German record holder in the high jump attempted to equal the world record of 2.09m but was unsuccessful.
