A Dream Deferred
  • October 29th, 2008

We all have dreams and what do you do when that dream of yours is deferred

Do you quit or do you comeback stronger, faster and bigger?

We all are capable of great things, so never ever give up on your dreams

Danny Glover narrates this powerful Nike ad, with lines straight from a Langston Hughes poem, “A Dream Deferred”

What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up
Like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore
And then run?

Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over
like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?
