Our Singapore Athletics Association has finally responded tit-for-tat of the ‘concerns’ and ‘reports’ that has been mentioned recently about them. In an online newsletter, which is a FIRST for them in like forever since they’re online, published on their website, SAA in mainly focused on the issue of the $12 million grant by SSC which was untrue based on the figures published on the site, and was only in fact $6.289 million that was given to them. Other issues was also addressed by SAA, for which I shall not elaborate, but I’ll leave for you to read and make judgment of yourself. Read it – SAA NewsletterThe state of Singapore Athletics is indeed in the dumps … to begin with, why does it require for such a measure of responses from our association, when they should be the one leading by example, and instead they’re more preoccupied being bombarded by allegations, media reports, and public war of words which is embarrassing. As usual people, do comment constructively, your feedback can be considered slander if it’s untrue. If you’ve the facts to back it up, then feel free to shoot. |
