An online diary contribution by our Team Singapore athlete, Jiun Lin specializing in the javelin Hello to all. Firstly, let me introduce myself. I’m Gio, a javelin thrower. Yes, and this is of course a blog to share about whats going on, my training, my thoughts and the local track and field scene. I’m new to this baby here, and I’m not going to blog about my training tonight. I want to make this not only a blog entry, but a interaction or a communicating tool for me to reach out to the other sportsman and sportswomen out there. So, lets get started! .. My question tonight, ‘How is training getting along?’ Its already Feb, and the season in 2007 has started. Lets discuss about this. Hows your training coming along? I’ll be glad to hear responds from fellow dear athletes. Tell me more! How you feel, any thoughts on training or recovery! Cheers

One thing i learn over the years, there’s no substitute for sleep as recovery! 7 hours minimum for me!
I will sleep as long as possible. Haha. Good sleep is a must!

Take ‘supplements’. Fast stronhg good maket yu.
Folks,
To add on to ‘uncle SHA’ comments, you must have consistent traininig and a consistent routine. And I cannot stress that enough.
this works for me and many other athletes here in australia who I have asked ….’what is the one thing that attribute to your running performance’ and guess what …. “consistent training”
cheers
happy training
