schools aren't supporting too - they just think it's a waste of time. -sigh-

The only reason why, when she hears the gun, she doesn’t break into a jog or begin to run, Is because, like me and you She knows only too well, That ever since time begun Men have had to learn to walk before they run.

hehee
situation here is quite bad, but they claim that they are going to schools now (which i dun really have info on).

As far as races go, it's the same old faces + gurkhas. fortunately we have some juniors joining us.

their 10 000 participants is applicable to their so called mass walks (like our newpaper big walk). for example IPOH STAR WALK, malay mail etc. Other that than, they are in the same situation but with better turn out and standards.

o
sha, there are plenty of walk races in Malaysia. Different states have different race and 3-5 states will have meets that draw around 10 000 ppl which is 1/4 the size of our new paper big walk. So if they wanna qualify for sea games or watever, they have plenty of chances.

i was at this maau walk circuit 2 years ago, there were only 6 participants for the 20km and the organiser said : "IT'S ok we are developing national-class athletes, not some walkathon etc etc 6 is fine". If only some people can think like them and not just focusing on statistics.

I don't think they perform age checks la. As long as on the entry form you reflect your age as junior, I guess they'll take it as that.
