Hello Singapore, this is Shafiq Kashmiri again. Today I wish to share with you my first 100meter race of the season plus my second race of the year in the 200m. I ran in the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by my school Princeton, on 21st April 2007, Saturday at Weaver stadium For the 100meter I did a good timing of 10.75s. I came in a close second, just a fraction 0.05s separates first and second spot. As for my 200m, once again I came in second to David Payne of Rider, who came in 21.54s while I finished second in 21.55s. I’ve been running a consistent sub 22s 200m, with my first sub 22s back in March at Walt Disney Invitational The Weaver stadium is state-of-the-art stadium for outdoor track and field sports provides available seating for nearly 2,500 spectators. It is made of durable brick red full-depth polyurethane, the safest, fastest and most comfortable surface available. It meets the highest standards of track and field’s world governing body, the International Amateur Athletic Federation. I would next be going to China to compete against the Chinese Universities in Beijing and Shanghai in coming dates. I’ll update you guys again Much love from the states! Shafiq Kashmiri
