
This young lady is quiet and unassuming. Fuel with abundant talent, the spotlight and all the buzz doesn’t faze her. She’s obviously under a good coach and very much focus on her training. Cassondra is coached by Mr Paul Rainer, Mr Loh
- How do you usually prepare physically for a race
Cassondra: I train everyday, 1 times a day
- During the SWIFT cross country which you win, what was your goal
Cassondra: I was going for topspot … 1st in fact
- How did you feel a couple of days before a race let’s say
Cassondra: Pretty normal
- At SWIFT cross country what was your take on the race
Cassondra: I was quite anxious at the start and was running tired at the end
- Do you fear any one athlete in particular?
Cassondra: Maybe my training mates, Yanni and Audrey who’s from Cedar
- What is next? Any more races?
Cassondra: Basically i’m hoping to do well in the upcoming National School Cross Country at Sentosa
Cassondra went on to win the girls B Division in the National Schools Cross Country 2003 after this interview. Also her school CHIJ St Nicholas School girls team won 2nd overall behind Commonwealth SS
