First and foremost, this is not the official website of Singapore Athletics Association. They are singaporeathletics.org.sg while we are singaporeathletics.com.

This is a blog fansite that supports local athletics in Singapore. Hi I’m Sha, a sports enthusiast who is affectionately known as Old Man or Uncle Sha, and I’m the webmaster here. This website has its beginning on 25th February 1999 hosted on a free server.

It then moved to various domains such as SPTrack.org and TrackUnited.org, before finally settling to SingaporeAthletics.com in 2004 with our very own server.

Currently the website is run by me solely as the main editor with contributing articles from athletes and coaches volunteer.

I still seek any donations to help fund this website or prizes for the readers. If you’ve any product or articles that need the exposure, here’s the platform. Here’s our contact details.

Over the years we’ve covered plenty of various local and international meets and event in Singapore, and we’re thankful to be apart of the ever evolving local athletic scene.

So if you spotted me or our volunteer snapping photos or filming events … do smile. We’ve caught you on camera :)
